Understanding Your Plan Limits

Learn what counts toward your Zelosify plan limits, how usage is tracked, and what to do when you are close to reaching a limit.

Understanding Your Plan Limits

Your Zelosify plan includes limits for items such as AI credits, contracts, vendors, and storage. This page explains what counts toward those limits, what does not count, and how you can monitor your usage.

To view your current usage, go to Settings → Billing → Usage. This page shows your real-time usage against your current plan limits.

AI Credits

AI credits are used when you perform AI-powered actions in Zelosify, such as contract drafting, document extraction, and AI search or RAG-based features.

Monthly Reset

AI credits reset on your billing date each month.

Rollover

Unused AI credits can roll over each month, up to a maximum of 3x your monthly credit allowance for Starter and Professional plans.

Add-On Packs

If you need more AI credits before your next billing cycle, you can purchase additional credit packs without upgrading your plan.

Tracking AI Credit Usage

You can monitor AI credit usage from your billing usage dashboard.

The dashboard shows:

  • Remaining AI credits
  • Daily AI credit consumption
  • Usage by feature, such as drafting, extraction, and RAG
  • Alerts at 80%, 90%, and 100% usage

Contracts Quota

Your contracts quota controls how many active contract records you can manage under your current plan.

Counts Toward Your Limit

The following contract statuses count toward your contracts quota:

  • Draft
  • Active
  • Pending Signature
  • Expiring Soon

Does Not Count Toward Your Limit

The following contracts do not count toward your active contracts quota:

  • Archived contracts
  • Expired contracts older than 90 days
  • Deleted contracts

When You Are Approaching the Limit

Zelosify shows a warning when you reach 80% of your contract limit.

For example:

You’ve used 40 of 50 contracts on your plan.

When you reach 100% of your contract limit, you will not be able to create new contracts. Existing contracts will continue to work as usual.

To free up space, you can archive old contracts or upgrade your plan.

Vendors Quota

Your vendors quota controls how many vendor records you can actively manage in Zelosify.

Counts Toward Your Limit

The following vendor statuses count toward your vendors quota:

  • Prospect
  • Onboarding
  • Active
  • On Hold

Does Not Count Toward Your Limit

The following vendors do not count toward your quota:

  • Archived vendors
  • Inactive vendors

When You Are Approaching the Limit

Zelosify shows a warning when you reach 80% of your vendor limit.

When you reach 100% of your vendor limit, you will not be able to add new vendors.

To free up space, archive vendors you no longer work with or upgrade your plan.

Storage Limits

Storage limits apply to documents and files uploaded to Zelosify.

Counts Toward Storage

The following files count toward your storage usage:

  • Uploaded contracts
  • Compliance documents
  • Attachments
  • Other stored documents

How Storage Is Calculated

Storage is calculated using the raw file size of all stored documents.

Monitoring Storage Usage

Your storage dashboard helps you understand how storage is being used.

You can view storage by:

  • Document type
  • Vendor
  • File age

This can help you identify large or outdated files that may be archived or removed.

Deleted files are purged from storage after the 90-day retention period.

What to Do When You Reach a Limit

If you are close to or have reached a plan limit, you can usually resolve it by cleaning up old records or upgrading your plan.

Common actions include:

  • Archive old contracts
  • Archive vendors you no longer work with
  • Remove unnecessary documents or attachments
  • Purchase additional AI credits
  • Upgrade to a higher plan

Your existing records and workflows will continue to work unless the limit specifically prevents creating new items.
