Statements of Work (SOWs)
Creating a Statement of Work
How to create Statements of Work in Zelosify — define deliverables, timelines, costs, and milestones.
What is a Statement of Work?
A Statement of Work (SOW) is a detailed document that defines the specific work to be performed under a contract. While a Master Service Agreement (MSA) covers the overall vendor relationship, SOWs define individual projects, deliverables, timelines, and costs within that relationship.
When to Use a SOW
- Engaging a vendor for a specific project with defined deliverables
- Breaking a large contract into manageable phases
- Defining resource allocations and hourly/fixed-fee arrangements
- Documenting milestones and acceptance criteria
How to Create a SOW
