Zel AI uses confidence levels to help you understand how reliable an answer is based on the available contract content.

When Zel AI says “I don’t know”
Zel AI will tell you when it cannot find enough relevant information instead of guessing.
This may happen when:
- The topic is not covered in any uploaded contract
- The question asks about information outside the contract library
- The relevant contract has not been uploaded
- A recently uploaded contract is still being processed
- The document text is unclear, incomplete, or difficult to read
For example, Zel AI can answer questions about contract terms, obligations, renewal dates, termination rights, and payment clauses. It may not be able to answer questions such as a vendor’s phone number unless that information appears in an uploaded contract.
Data privacy
Zel AI only searches contracts that belong to your organization.
Your contract data is isolated from other customers’ data, so answers are generated only from your organization’s uploaded documents.
Limitations to keep in mind
Zel AI is designed to help you find and understand contract information faster, but it should not replace professional review for critical decisions.
Keep the following in mind:
- Zel AI can only answer based on contracts uploaded to Zelosify
- It does not use external knowledge unless that information is included in your contracts
- Scanned PDFs or poor-quality OCR may result in lower-quality answers
- Newly uploaded contracts may take a few minutes to become searchable
- AI responses are summaries, so important legal, financial, or business decisions should always be verified against the cited source sections
